My Free eBook in Spanish & How You Can Help Make Veganism Accessible

If you’re at all familiar with my channel and website, then you know that I have a free ebook.  It’s available for anyone who signs up for my nugget newsletter and you also get access to the VIV area containing exclusive videos, deals, and my personally assembled list of vegan resources.  well, now, the ebook has gotten even more accessible because an awesome Bite Size Vegan viewer–okay, well, you’re all awesome–Alberto Martinez, aka Moshpirit as he’s known online, translated the whole thing into Spanish. So now when you get into the VIV area you can download both languages. [tweet this: English | Español]

Many, many thanks to Alberto for his hard work.  This is a perfect opportunity for me to let you know, if you didn’t already, that anyone can add translated captions to any of my videos.  You can just go to the bottom of the video description and find the link to, click on that and then you can translate and upload captions.  They will sync to my YouTube channel automatically and then the video will be that much more accessible and the message that much more able to reach people

So if you’re bi or multi-lingual and want to help spread the vegan message, I’d be so grateful to have more translations on any of my videos.

The other announcement I have is that I’m going to be co-authoring a book (like a real one you can hold and stuff.)  You may be familiar with the website Vgirls Vguys?  It was created by photographers Melissa Schwartz and Donovan Jenkins in their quest to learn how to be healthy vegans by interviewing well, healthy vegans, and photographing them.

Well now, Vgirls Vguys is evolving into VeganaRevolution and taking the form of a book.  The book will cover why to be vegan, from the environmental and ethical aspects to the sociological and heath implications, and then include photographs and testimonials from vegans to give practical examples of how to be vegan in everyday life.

It’s an epic undertaking and I’m honored to be a part of it.  I wanted to let you all know about this because as it is, and as you may know, I’m already working 12-18 hour days for Bite Size Vegan, so adding the task of co-authoring a book is a little insane.  But basically, I wanted to inform you that I may be a little more sparse with my online presence as far as replying to comments and emails.  I kind of already suck at keeping up with it.  But I will continue Bite Size Vegan, so no worries there!

So please be patient with me and know that I greatly value each and every one of you and will continue to do my best to respond as much as I can. I do read and appreciate all that you guys contribute.  You are what makes the Bite Size Vegan channel what it is and I can never thank you all enough for your support.

In the meantime, if my ability to entertain wanes, just imagine me hard at work writing…which, actually, is not that entertaining.  Unless we do it in the manner I so epically display in the video above (words cannot capture it–you must see it to believe it). [tweet this]

I'd love to hear what you think about all this news. Let me know in the comments!

See ya next nugget!

    Hi Emily,

thank you os much for your hard work! It’s really appreciated and makes a lot of things easier!

I would love to participate and start translating your Videos as well as your eBook.

I myself speak German and English, so I’m currently translating to German. I also have a friend, who might be willing to translate your eBook to Russian..

Are there any guidelines to follow/where do I send my translated script to? I couldn’t find any Amara link for the eBook…

    • Emily Barwick on June 22, 2016 at 12:11 pm

        Hi Emily,

thank you so much for your reply! Yes, my email is correct. I’m glad to be able to offer some help, as I think, you’re providing the most interesting and valuable content concerning veganism (beside Gary of course ;)). I want to help and spread the word, which is the least I can do for now. :)
